We rescued a tree from the Chipper at the Xmas tree sales place, it had grown all twisted with not enough branches and had sprouted random cones so it was due to be mashed for fertiliser for being ugly. The kids felt sorry for it so I bought it and they've christened it "Fugly Tree", it still had it's roots so it's been potted in WODC recycling box and is already growing nicely in the from room, sadly it's only 2" from the ceiling so after it gets transplanted outside after Xmas, it'll have to live there forever.
