ive had a few in my time. passed my motorbike test on 17th bday, then got a 50cc chinese offroader. it was so cheap i pulled a wheelie and smashed the front rim in after 2 weeks. binned that and bought this... 2007 cbr125R got bored of that after 6 months and got a 99 honda hornet 600. loved this bike! was an absoloute dream to ride. then flogged that when i went to uni, then got back and bought a 2003 cbr600f which i completely customised push bikes... had an inspired element, street trials bike didnt like that too much, too heavy for my liking. also my old fixie.. bought as a bare steel frame then painted and built it up.. £200 in total had another 2 bikes, onza zoot and a cove sanchez in the background this is my current echo 24" (and yes it has no seat ) also have had a specialized big hit DH bike and a spank spoon jump bike but no pics.
That Laverda is very nice. A pal of mine had a Jota until very recently. He said it was very temperamental.
first clean this year so thought i would take some photos, this is my daily transport to work 2007 r6, took all day to clean the tar and c**p off but the sun was out so was quite a relaxing day
...Oh, and my latest but earliest.May i present my 1933 Raleigh Gentlemans All Steel Bicycle.I do ride this every now and again for a laugh. Its incredibly comfy and easy to use too. The History Bit.... I purchased it from a 78 year old bloke 3 doors down from me as hes got to old to ride it so he says. His uncle gave it to him in 1948 after he earned enough money in the army in WWII to buy himself a motor bike and side car.In 1963, the bike had 2 new wheels and a 3 speed sturmey archer fitted and in 1974, it had 2 new 'plastic' mudguards (i have sprayed them matt black). And this year,he sold it to me for a pricely sum of £20.00.When it was new,it was £5.00 and 5 shillings.I have put 2 new/repro tyres on it and new brake blocks then sprayed it matt black to make it look like an air raid wardens bike.It is missing the oil bath chain guard, but apart from that, its pretty original. The 'brooks' saddle is the comfiest bike seat ever as its had 81 years of arse molding done to it.Hope you appreciate a god bit of old school English Iron.lol
