Whether big or small, modern or retro, enclosed or a single sheet with a couple of poles what do you attach to your van?

 

i got 2, small kyham for touring about or single nights, or the big one for longer stops, outwell country road

 

me too. I've got this little fella here for a quickie



and this one here when away for a wee while

 

Dont use this much mainly if going away for a week or more



Use this to keep the sun rain off

 

if it's nice weather



if it's not so nice

 

Never used it though.

I might have a couple going if you want them

 

Pole and two clips but I plan to upgrade for next year so it'll be figure od 8 for me too!

 

Seems a lot of people have two, I only have one, an Outdoor Revolution vrx move lite.
Good point: has 3 doors/windows, I've taken to using the side ones rather than the end one, this was the first outing.
Bad Points: Bendy fibreglass poles are difficult to get even tension on, invariably one or two of them are bent too much on one side and not enough on the other, also bendy poles are not great in strong winds.

 

Outwell, it's the only one I have at present.

 

Ive got a retro awning from JK. Tried it on the drive with a masterclass from Discokegs. wrapped it all back up and SORN'd the bus. Cant wait for next year

 

All these people with 2 awnings, but only one sliding door! I have the facility to use 2 awnings simultaneously, but I've only got one awning:



Outdoor Revolution Movelite. Not massive, but big enough for tw of us and the dog.

We also have a canopy that we use occasionally when we're only on short trips:

 

The funny thing is most of these awnings you could drive a bus into.
