So, Ive heard that RHD Auto's are quite hard to come by, is this correct?

Here's mine, not original colour, its a Mercedes colour DB880 Cactus green,





If they're as rare as I've heard then ill keep it Auto, if not then in time i may consider a box swap,

But in the mean time,

here's Wilma, 40 this November 1st, registered in '74, is she the oldest auto on tlb?

 

Dave, Wilma was registered 74 but built Nov 72.

 

Mine was manufactured '72 and registered Mar'73, does this make mine the oldest??

Is it true that most autos are also Westfalia conversions? There are 2 on this thread that aren't.

 

Hi Wilma, just found papers, it was manufactured 16th December 1972
Makes yours older by a little
However mine was reg 73 haha but yeh tax free all good!!! That is when it's running lol!!

Yeh definitely trying to get it finished before December for a birthday run! Thankfully I'm not 40 til next year lol!!
