I guess not... 2002, maybe too old? There's rust bubbles on both front wings by the wheels, and both sides at the bottom of the C pillars. The notes / advisories on the service sheet in November said rust underneath the floor and sills. Hopefully just surface, but I'm going through the usual pre-MOT panic phase. I should stick him on axle stands and get underneath with the wire brush and underseal, but its cold and wet!

 

I'll probably ask, once I know the outcome. There's also Bob the Welder who took care of Henry after he failed his MOT last year (3 small areas on the chassis). I have options, I just need to know the extent and the vague cost.
There is also a Y Reg one for sale up in Peterborough that looks lovely, but it's higher tax, petrol, and miles away. And expensive! You'd appreciate it though.... it's gold!

Weve got tickets for Barnsley, mid July, 450 capacity venue, should be a great night!

 

Possibly the oldest railway station in the country (certainly the oldest remaining), Wingfield Station.







From the outside, it looked very well restored.

 

My first time was early 90's at Derby Rockhouse.

Met Simon last year, he's a top bloke, we met Chadders a few times over the past years too.

 

I wondered about that one. Are they doing smaller venues but doing two nights on this tour? I might see if there’s still tickets.
