When I'm too old and infirm to ride my Triumph I'll get a Harley and when I'm too old and infirm for that I'll probably still not consider a tricycle.

 

I've got to pick up a Goldwing today. I am not looking forward to it. Bloody heavy things.

Picked up a Goldwing trike the other day. That was fine as I couldn't drop it ha ha

Just shredded the fan belt on the way to Sheffield.

 

Alternator seized, why's that?

 

I didn't drop it. Not sure anyone would have noticed if I had.

 

Alternator bearings? Something stuck in the fan, perhaps? Alternator bushes disintegrated?

 

I had a bicycle for sale.

1978 Single carburetor . I think a 1.6 maybe. The way it sound.
Full bulkhead. The interior was built by a carpenter in Tenerife. Who owned it last.

Strange - as suggested the problem may be the fan end.

 

Do you think that would be man enough to seize the fan?
Not to cast aspersions upon our great and goodly suppliers of aftermarkets parts but...
Purplepantyman on here had a fanshroud that shed most of it's internal vanes...
