    Is that Seal Shore site, south Arran? Was there 20 years ago when my kids were young. The pub owner used to go out in a boat and catch lobster and serve it up in the pub. Still happen?

    Were a few electric assist bikes going up Lythe Bank too - with relative ease! Saw a lot of these, owned by locals, during my trip to Rosedale Abbey this week. They’re getting very popular and make a lot of sense for some people. Not for me though, ever the purist.

    Plug snipped off to render it unusable and now sitting in the pile for the next trip to the recycling centre!

    Fantastic site well run but the pub next door has taken a dive - just shouty *******head locals .
    Shame but we just sat outside and spotted three otters playing on the rocks - result

    Beautiful coast road up to Lochranza, just a lunch stop but spotted a couple of otters playing in the surf
    There's wildcamping spots aplenty along that stretch but the missus likes a bog so back to the campsite .

    It's 50 metres from the Moffat C&C club site - rammed - 30 quid a night ...
