Oh, yuuuuk.
I loathe slugs ever since I trod on one with bare feet and all the slime squished up between my toes.

 

Temperature isn't even into double figures this morning.

 

What is the point of slugs?

 

Frog, hedgehog and bird fodder. But they do my head in. They’ve genuinely eaten about a third of my raised beds. Now I go out every morning with a sharp spade

 

... and now much less likely to become a victim of identity theft?

Shaggy ink caps.
We call them shaggy manes, have used them in gravy with venison, pretty much have to prepare them within a few hours of harvest or they ink. Had a black peppery flavor if I remember right. Been quite a few years.

My daughter-in-law screamed the other day when she came downstairs and stood on a pile of mouse guts left by an intrepid hunter moggy, in her bare feet.

 

Having to head out earlier in the evening to catch the last of the Sun and have a decent run out in da Bug

 

Not sure of the point of these.
Someone with too much time and money to burn.
