    Does it go across to an area that remains above water at High tide? Like an island?
    They have similar ancient paths at Foulness Island, accessible when the tide is out..

    It is, and has been a very lovely 'perk' of the job for the last 19 years. Sadly my boss is selling up and moving on (in a month's time!!) and I'm not sure the multi-millionaire, young, property developer, london type, new owner / boss will feel quite the same about us.

    I live in fear of that coloured dye that reacts if you wee in a swimming pool!! Or is it just an urban myth?

    hahahahahahaha.... I am that bunny girl, obviously!

    The image settings on here prove that the earth really is flat and you can fall of the end. The end seems to be East Sussex.

    Doesn't appear to. High tide mark is visible at the bottom of the piccy where the large stonework slopes down.
    Nothing is marked on the 1900 map (it would be between the two groynes) and before that it was underwater as a new sea wall was build in 1880s or something so they could reclaim some land and make another dock.

    Some of the OS Cassini maps go back to 1839 --50's in some areas ...but could be a to smaller scale to see any thing like that on the coast .
