That’s a local fishing lake that’s been neglected for years.

There’s been a hell of a lot of flooding and damage up here yesterday and today though.
It’s been biblical rain for days on end.

 

Had there been a storm overnight? Just that it reminds me a bit of this little effort of mine ("Broadstairs. Dawn storm breaking" ... and no, I'm NOT happy with it )

 

Aye, but it’s Yorkshire rain. Bloody sight better than that p*ss-weak Southern stuff.

 

Its been neglected for years bazza
Most of the pegs are rotten, fallen apart it’s mostly overgrown on the bank and there’s a lot of weed in it.

Apparently there’s carp in there though and it can still be fished at £10 for 24 hours.

It looks like the place was cared for at some point in the past.

Yes we had quite bit of rain too , the clouds looked like they had dark whales or fish below them , ver interesting you artist types

 

It's a shame a fishing club hasn't taken it on it looks lovely, £10 for 24 hours that's cheap
