"Shedman" panic!

  1. That was my sealent of choice for sticking fiberglass bodykits to steel panels
     
  2. What is this "Tiger seal" you speak of?
    I feel it's something I should own, I used to use Blacktite until it was found to be carcinogenic.
     
  3. It's polyurethane sealer/adhesive that comes in a mastic-style tube. There's similar stuff that I forget the name of. Being squishy, it'll fill gaps, so the surfaces don't need to be flat.

    Takes a good while to cure, but I'm confident I could stick my van to the side of the house with it :)

  4. You could rebuild crank cases with Blacktite, Sidecar crews used to run a whole season on it.

    hopefully i don't need to remind you all the laws on keeping old cans of touch up spray for cars you no longer own? it's vital you have a can of "that nearly matches" if you want to touch up a scratch on another car - only to find out that indeed there is a difference in blues....
