setting valve gaps

found the notch in the pulley wheel (marked in white) but can't seem to find a notch in the dizzy

is no1 firing likely to be here



or here



there is a big notch at around the 9 o'clock position and a small scratch in the 2 o'clock position

 

Whichever position is pointing to the no 1 plug lead when the cap's on is the right one.

 

now why didn't i think of that
