So i have found out why a replacement servo didnt last on my T4 2000lt late bay. Glad it was a second hand one. The servo has been drawing in moisture from a pipe/hose that ends up in the drivers wheel arch. The pipe/hose comes from the front of the servo.There is nothing connected to the pipe, i expect there should be. The wheel arch having been replaced at some time. I am told that there is a simple filter/volume box as part of the original wing panel that this pipe connects to to draw air and not dirt and water into the servo. Does any body have an idea what the missing bit should be/is/or looks like. and where you can get one or something that would do the job from.
