seat runners.

  1. I took the old volvo seats out tonite with the intension of just slotting in the drivers seat but no runners!
I could see where the one on the wheel arch had been but not where the inside one should be, I've had a look on the resto threads and i seem not to have the inner metal sections. I have what appears to be some section made out of flat bar.

My questions is do walk through models all have the same mountings? and if so can you buy the missing sections?

I have attached a photo off my phone to give you a better idea.

    Thanks Chris

  2. photos abit pants but it looks like your van was a bulkhead van and has been converted to a walkthrough? the walkthrough has extension bits on the inner edge of the arch tubs that hold the seats up and have the inner runner welded on

  3. you might have to cut the runners out of a scrapper the inside runner sits right on the edge of the walk through so you would have to weld the runner to the flat bar.

  5. karman connection sell the passenger side mounts £30 for the pair but the only a piece of 2mm angle with a large hole and a angled slot easy to make yourself

  6. I bought the passenger seat brackets off eBay, they are bolted in so if you need them I can send you the schematics ( draw around them with a pencil)
