I have gone back to a standard shifter in my bay as the wife just couldn't get on with this one, it was bought new about 6 months ago so has had very little use. its in near perfect condition with no damage or marks to it, the chrome is very bright and shiney. you know what they look like.... this cost me £120 new so after £85ono plus postage of £8 please. any questions just fire away. cheers, si
How tall is it why did the mrs not like it? (pines dead picky and cant get on with my porridge stick ((Matron)))
hi guys, it is made for all bay windows from 67 onwards. it measures approximately 52cm from the base to the handle. It gives a much closer throw so there's less movement between gear changes, as she just couldn't always get it, she prefers the original porridge stirrer that was on it.
it was on and bought for my rhd bay and feels right, the fat end of the handle is towards you and narrows to the left. had no problems with the handbrake, but mine is very well adjusted and only comes out about 4 - 5 clicks as it should do so no dramas with hill starts etc. cheers, si.
