  1. So I’ve been busy sorting the back of the van, and I moved onto the front, safe to say it’s worse than I thought!

    Started to cut away!

    Has anyone replaced the inner and outer valance before?

    Any advice would be great, was going to use the inner replacement panel and cut to make up. However if I replace fully I need to sort the outer panel?

    Thoughts?

    @JamesLey

    You've done this repair before from memory?

  3. Difficult to do the inner and outer deformation panel without a lower front panel replacement too, also I’d be amazed if you’re not into lower A posts and steps as well!

  4. Ok, yes you’re right about the a posts and wheel arches!

    The main A structure is sound apart from a small piece. It’s the skin and deformation part which is bad.

    I don’t think it’d be impossible with the front panel on. It’s just that usually if the def panel and a pillars are going the front may need some work too.
    What’s your washer bottle panel like too?

  7. It has started to go in a couple of spots, with one hole where it joins the inner valance... should be able to make a piece to cover that.

  8. Turns out it’s more than a few holes!

I then formed new sections and welded them in. If I had removed them more carefully, I could have reused them.
