Must admit that I'm really looking forward to this
Is anybody going to any of the games? I looked at some of the deals around and decided against it in the end but will be glued to the TV.

Didn't get any tickets to the RWC but went to England v Ireland in the last warm up game a few weeks ago.
England need to be at the top of their game but if they are, they've got a shout.

  8. Love to go to a match but the price of the tickets was daft so will be watching on TV.
May have to go to watch England Rugby League against New Zealand in November. Tickets are a lot cheaper.

Ticket prices were daft that's for sure. Seems to be a common theme of popular sporting events in this country unfortunately.
Even the pre-cup warm up matches were £90 a pop but was a cracking day out!

  13. Had a giggle when I read that 'the organisers/English have banned all items that may interfere or irritate other spectators including large flags on poles, big hats & BAG PIPES.

    IDIOTS!

Just filled in the office prediction game sheet, and will be watching:thumbsup:

  15. Wonder if they'll ban Brian Moore? He's very irritating.

His shirts may of been a bit loud but hardly a banning offence.

I will be watching - very excited, only downside is that it's on ITV!

  18. Not that one! The one that looks like Uncle Fester but with attitude.

Hmm Shepherd Neame they do some good beers . Quite rich hoppy ones especially Bishops Finger . Spitfire is good too ....Quite appropriate to drink it now what with the battle of Britain and all that CHEERS.
