We had a great weekend and it was fantastic seeing so many familiar faces and some new ones too We enjoyed ourselves so much that we took hardly any pictures! Yes the traffic was bad getting there and yes there was a bit of poo on the grass (or should that be a bit of grass on the poo?) Julie used the tried and trusted welly flick, whilst others prefered poo croquet Don't you just hate turning up to a party and someone else has the same frock? How was the Cain's? They need all the drinkers they can muster these days, the brewery's not long for this world
I recommend the Double Bock Be a shame to see a brewery that aren't afraid to try something a little different get snapped up by one of the big boys whose main revenue comes from producing a bland IPA.
Cains has been a Liverpool institution for over 100yrs and it was bought by brothers desparate to keep it going but with the recession, cheap supermarket beers and the brands rep as an 'old man' drink it struggles against the trendy imports and 'yoof' targeted beer
