FOR SALE Royal Traveller drive-away Awning

Discussion in 'Non Late Bay Classifieds' started by PeterW3035, Nov 23, 2014.

  1. Royal Traveller traditional stylish retro drive away awning, good condition with figure of 8 strip to connect to van gutter. Canvas with steel poles so fairly heavy. No interior sleeping pods, ground sheet or curtains but we do have the plastic clip thingies so you could make up your own curtains/blinds. £140 ono

As there is just two of us we've decided to go for the simpler sun shade awning so this is surplus to requirements. This would be perfect for a family needing more enclosed space.

I assume it would be expensive to post/courier as it is heavy, so collection from Romsey, Hants SO21 close to M27, maybe TLB courier service?

Connecting pole and canvas, ready for connection if I'd parked a little closer !!

  2. Just to be upfront, there is some minor stains on some on the canvas and some of the peg rubber loops are starting to perish or missing, these as easily replaced and are readily available in any camping shop

  3. Is it the wrong time of year to sell camping kit or is it too expensive? Happy to take near offers.................

  4. Is this still for sale?

  5. Yep, certainly is. Are you interested?

  6. Good luck with this. I have the same awning and it is great. Good price as I paid more than this last year. Would recommend one of these to anyone.

  7. Thanks @davedub, hopefully it will find a good home. It will be ideal for someone, as there are just two of us we have decided to go light weight with just a sun awning.

  8. nice awnings they are , always handy too if you want to go out for the day n leave stuff behind and not have your pitch moved in on , good luck with the sale it seems a bargain

  9. Cheers Barney, it was probably the wrong time to advertise but with spring now round the corner its ready and waiting for a new home :)

  15. Any offers from here ? I'll be putting on eBay next week with a low starting price. £50 or is that still too much ??

  16. I'd love this but would need it chucking in a courier van and sending up to Durham :(

  17. There's always the TLB courier service, it's worked for me several times. I'm sure there's a way, I really want it to go to a good home.

  18. @Bertie-bus how about collection from Hexham?? We have a friend travelling down for a dear friends funeral next week and she can bring awning & melaware back to Hexham later in the week.
