Road trip with engine running on 3 cylinders

Might not be as quick a trip as normal but it'll get there. A rebuild is now on the cards I guess.

sure, I see dubs running on 3 all the time, they don't even know they are missing a cylinder.

but, would I go on a road trip like that? No, only if i had to on the way back home.

You should always account the amount of stress involved in going somewhere knowing something is wrong, and a road trip should be enjoyable, not stressful.

 

Thing is I don't have any choice, no room at slackers garage,so only place to do the job is at my bro's place, and that is 50km away

 

if that's 50km one way only, i'd do it. Its still less stressful than driving with no insurance.

 

been driving the pickup for two days without brakes ,does that compare...? ;D
