only had one UK number one as well...should have been more given his number of memorable classics..

I never knew much of his stuff and I used to get his name mixed up with Andy Stewart (of Donald where's ya troosers fame). Ialso vaguely remember a show he did in the late 60s or early 70's where a regular part of the show was a bear who used to knock on his door wanting milk and cookies. But he did some classics, I always liked Can't get used to losing you, and The Beat did a fine version too.

Never high on my play list but all the same another memory from my younger days gone
