What a sad loss loved him on just a minute a nice guy sharp as a pin
96,though. Good man
For a man obsessed with cricket he will be gutted that he did not get a ton
Just a minute will not be the same
Well batted Nicholas. Proper Gent.
R.I.P Nicholas Parsons.
He will be very sadly missed. Just a minute will never be the same again.
Such a shame, 96 was a good age all the same.
RIP - he was great as a straight man to Arthur Haynes et al
RIP - we saw him at the Edinburgh Fringe a few times. Last time was when he was 93 and he was a proper old charmer.
Saw him as the narrator / Dr Scott in Rocky Horror on stage a couple of times. Great sense of humour.
And happy childhood memories of ‘Sale of the Century’.
RIP what a top funny nice bloke
Sad, and he was an accomplished engineer.
Sale of The Century, brilliant! What an innings, what a life! RIP
And now, from Norwich, it's the quiz of the week.
Reminds me of Sunday evenings before a bath and getting things ready for school in the morning.
Just re-watched 'Mr Jolly lives next door' by the comic strip....It's still very, very funny! "Look....it's Nicholas Bloody Parsons"
It’ll be the funeral of the century
