Hello, am reluctantly putting Lardy up for sale now. I've had him for three years now, purchased with the best intentions to get him back on the road. All welding completed and flown through the last two MOTs, well, after repairing the wiring loom where some muppet cut through it! Sliding door bottom has been repaired, rear arch and corner on passenger side, new battery tray, brakes and running gear overhauled with all new shocks. Interior is on it's way, it was bare save a couple of shoddy seats but now looking good. 3/4 bed has been moved to the middle with two units made for storage either side meaning that the bed is full width when pulled out Interior lined with automotive material, looks great imo and it's been done so the panels can be removed and replaced in the future with retrimmed ones, so no mess!! Overhead locker and side units faced with oak veneer, lights installed overhead and on kick board of bed. Have replace all curtain track and new curtains too. Engine is very strong, 2ltr CU out of T25, hydraulic tappets and been serviced more regularly than normal to keep it running well. Gearbox, hmmmmn, take your pick really, there's a 1600 gearbox installed but I think the thrust bearing needs replaced, making a little noise which disappears when clutch depressed. I've also got a six rib, new gaskets and rebuilt. Bodywork, bottom half of Lardy needs a respray, pics show the work I've been doing and all in all he's solid! Paint in the colour of your choice I say?? Wheels have been sand blasted and painted pastel white. Very minimal work required to make him into the bus he should be, small I'm asking is that I recoup the money I've spent for parts and time. I'm looking for £6500, for a RHD, tax exempt, mot'd late bay. I'm located near Saffron Walden, Essex and viewing recommended, although can send as many pictures as you like. Sorry you've decided to sell, if I had space I'd have him. I'm having to be realistic though I can't really use two vans. As you say whoever buys will get a great bus.

Thanks for the love guys, I don't wanna go, just don't have the funds to finish him properly. The girlfriend is gutted for me strangely enough but enoughs enough, I want Lardy to go to a good home where he'll be loved and finished properly.
