  3. That's no bad thing. That means it's an original toughened one rather than a laminated screen. Better it happens on your drive than when you're driving somewhere.

Any pictures yet ? Put the engine back in mine at the weekend. Wiring and fuel lines now ! Trying to remember where they all go !

  6. No pics yet, I'm trying to now make the garage "workable" before I start!!
I've got bits of wiring so tbh I've gotta buy a complete loom!!

Don't buy one until you need it then you won't hve to look after it.

  8. I got the other one with the camper otherwise I wouldn't have bothered getting it, I may need a few panels before glass lol

I was going to say you won't need one for years, but i thought that was a bit cheeky. :)

  10. Be as cheeky as you like!
I'll prove all you negative people wrong in 100 years when it's finished....

  11. Ok, so I'm in the middle of removing the last remnants of the front panel and I'm just drilling around the air box but every drill bit I use is blunting due to going through 3layers of metal.....what's the best bit to remove spot welds?! (Yes I've tried a proper spot weld bit!!)

  12. Pop a tiny one through first but they have a tendency to snap so go easy

  13. I still feel that will blunt up quite quick??

Make sure your drill speed is set low and that you've got some cutting fluid on it.

Slower the better. And the idea of a spotweld drill is it's flat so you can drill through JUST THE TOP LAYER or what are you going to weld the new panel to?
