Does anyone have any advice on replacing a smashed wing mirror. I bought a replacement unit but the quality is poor so would like to keep my originals and replace the glass only...any ideas?
I managed to successfully change the glass over - I had to break the glass in the good mirror and bend the lip of the cheapy mirror to seperate the parts. I was then able to persuade the seal in between the two with a bit of lube and crossed fingers.
Thanks for the reply might try and give it a go. The replacements are pretty bad so not putting them on the bus in any case....
