Replacement Door Threshold?

Hi all,

After a bit of guidance/advice. Have just replaced the flooring in Daisy and had to remove the old door threshold to lay the vinyl underneath so it's neat and tidy. The old one is covered in scratches and looks like it's seen better days.

My question is; Would you

a) just tart up the existing one? (and if so, with what)
b) replace (and if so, where would you get one! Just tried JK and they don't stock them)

Or if you want a cheaper option, I used a piece of Ali angle bought from my local carpet place.

 

B+Q used to do a nice "hockey stick" aluminium channel that looked good, depedant on how your floor was done. Got some on mine.
