Replacement carbs

My std solex set up has done my head in for the last time and now it's getting replaced.
The n/s carb throttle butterfly doesn't shut off properly, I get massive backfiring on over run and it's drinking fuel faster than a tramp can drink special brew. Basically it's *****ed and I am fed up with spending time and money propping up 40yr old carbs
I am looking for a complete kit with linkages etc that I can fit and get set up on the rollers. I have a set up in mind but I thought I would ask here for recommendations that will suit a type4 2litre. I want power and motorway driving but not drag strip acceleration.

So what kits to avoid and what's good please

I've just had a pair of webber 34's put on mine and they are mint...... Although I did have a bocar carb before which was poo

Eurocarb but make sure you are sitting down before you read the price. They also offer great advice and will jet them to your engine.
