  1. hi , after some advice please i have just removed the top part and concertina bellows of my poptop on my devon , its the flatish one . the problem is that the bottom part that is fixed to the roof looks like its glued to the roof of the van , whats the best way of removing it without doing damage , i need to remove it to get the roof painted . thanks paul

  2. The fixed Plinth has a wooden frame moulded into it, and this has wood screws, that go through the vertical [glow=red,2,300]flange[/glow] that has been bent up out of the original roof, when it was cut out.
Normally its not glued into place.....go and have a look at the [glow=red,2,300]flange[/glow], inside the bus, you should find numerous screw heads.

  5. So I understand!! :)
I was describing how I fitted mine, screws, angle grinder to cut hole, and corner brackets fabricated from the roof material, and riveted in using solid aircraft rivets.
I was congratulated last Friday by the restoration company thats painting my bus, for a Much better job that I had done compared with the Devon factory.
