After 15 years of yearning whilst camping in a trailer tent I am the new owner (No 7) of a 1978 converted panel van which Mrs J has named 'Reggie'. He was a Devon Conversion registered in Bristol the day B4 my 29th Birthday and had a first career of some 100k miles. He then languished amongst the welsh hills for 10 years until owner no 6 gave him a new engine and a respray among other life enhancing features. So I suppose you could say "Reggie's on the road again, wearing different clothes again.........". But only if you are a sad muppet like me! Reggie is languishing in a local garage at the moment having his fuel tank fixed as it sprung a leak coming home and at this early stage of my ownership I couldn't contemplate the major surgery entailed myself!! However he will soon be out on the road with us and our new Khyam awning and Tilley Lamp making a nuisance of ourselves in local campsites.
