Red Stag

Before Dubs in the Forest this year I was eyeing a just release bottle of Red Stag in Sainsburys but couldn't warrant spending £27 on it.

As it turned out Tezzah had a bottle and I tried a small glass and i'ts very nice - well I like it. It's Jim Beam bourbon flavoured with black cherry.

So in ASDA yesterday I saw a smaller bottle for £13 and bought it.

I recommend it.

Intriguing - is it really sweet? Or can you still taste the bourbon?

We normally buy a bottle of single malt or bourbon for Xmas so if you'd recommend it we'll make the trip to Asda.

 

You can still taste the bourbon but the cherry is also a definate flavour. I wouldn't say it was sweet.

HF, I think I prefer yours to his (HOrts) and I love cherries too!
