I'm rebuilding my CU engine but after assembling the crankcases i've noticed i forgot something. I didn't install the items in the red circles. I'm 100% sure they weren't installed when i disassembled my engine but i have them in the new packing set. Now my question: do i need to re-open and install them because it's important for .. or do they only have a helping function for assembling ?
As far as I know they are just there to hold the bolts in place when putting the case back together, so don't worry too much if you didn't install them.
