Rear valance side tabs, how?

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by Matt542, May 24, 2020.

  1. how do you fold or bend the tabs on a rear valance? F141B84A-0BFE-42E9-9B8C-3DFA678605E7.jpeg

  2. Do you mean the sticky-out ones on the threequarter panels? Yours look fine. They stick out over the chassis rails (or mine do, anyway).

  3. The originals were folded, but not sure how to do it? 389A4F2B-C1A0-44C6-B4B3-68B07B12C0B2.jpeg

Get a big piece of flat metal , put it against the non folded side , tap the lip around to touch the other part

Mine were like that but we "folded" over using the big flat welding clamps - the one's on the bottom right of the picture.
