Rear Sun Blind

I recently acquired this rear blind from a mate........
anyone else got one fitted?





Apparently its a Volkswagen of Australia accessory.

When fitted it wil look like this..........





Now all I need to do is finish the van.......

 

Looks like it slots into the rubber.

I rather like the look of those.

 

I like that alot. I'd be tempted to colour code it to your bus and black stencil design contrast..

Never seen those before, is it fixed or can you open and close it? Anyone got any ideas where to get one from, a quick google is no help.

I've seen them fitted in Beetle's before but not in a bay.

What's it made from? wood, metal or plastic

Considering ive never seen one before id imagine when they come up they will be stupidly expensive

 

There was a split in C&B years ago that had Venetian blinds fitted. Looked really cool. May look in Ikea and see what ones they do and how easy it would be to adapt the brackets for the rear window.

 

In answer to your questions, its metal, and the slats are fixed, so its more of a sun shade really....
I've only seen them on TheSamba before, and yes stupid money........luckily I got it 'stupidly' cheap.

we used to sell em at cool air but dropped them because they didn't sell very well !!

i may be able to get some more but will only get em on a group buy basis.

they used to retail around the £100 mark
