Rear Brake Shoes.

  1. Hmmmm, I have a problem identifying what year my brake shoes are.
The new ones I have are different.
The originals have a hole and a pin for the handbrake whereas the new ones have a slot (like the others I've done), has some fookwit fitted Beetle rear brakes?

Can I change the handbrake bars etc and use the shoes I have or is it time to drop my trousers for yet more "one year only" parts. :(

  2. Easy fix, just buy late style distance bars, distance bar clips and handbrake levers. Last set of new shoes I bought had the handbrake levers attached.

  3. Pants down - Prepare for reaming...

  4. I'd hoped that was the case as I've got three sets of late shoes in stock. :)
    Thank you.
