Hmmmm, I have a problem identifying what year my brake shoes are. The new ones I have are different. The originals have a hole and a pin for the handbrake whereas the new ones have a slot (like the others I've done), has some fookwit fitted Beetle rear brakes? Can I change the handbrake bars etc and use the shoes I have or is it time to drop my trousers for yet more "one year only" parts.
Easy fix, just buy late style distance bars, distance bar clips and handbrake levers. Last set of new shoes I bought had the handbrake levers attached.
