We've had this visitor in our garden for the last couple of years now. When we first saw him he had lost his tail and had a bit of a raw stump there, so we thought he wouldn't survive, but 2 years on he's still about and looking pretty plump.

  2. Yay Ratty - that is a very healthy looking creature - his lack of tail must not cause him any issues :)

  3. That's pretty cool - he must be one of life's survivors. :)

We've got a couple of squirrels in our garden who've got bald tails - we had to stand and watch them for a while to work out that they were actually squirrels and not rats! (I'd rather have squirrels in my garden than rats, TBH)

  4. he must be the stockiest squirrel i've ever seen. Is there pie and chips in those feeders??
