We've had this visitor in our garden for the last couple of years now. When we first saw him he had lost his tail and had a bit of a raw stump there, so we thought he wouldn't survive, but 2 years on he's still about and looking pretty plump.
That's pretty cool - he must be one of life's survivors. We've got a couple of squirrels in our garden who've got bald tails - we had to stand and watch them for a while to work out that they were actually squirrels and not rats! (I'd rather have squirrels in my garden than rats, TBH)
