Question for Moonraker owners?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by brothernumberone, Mar 22, 2012.

  1. Hello, does anyone know what these holes are for? There's two in both the A-pillars, and another two in front of the vents on both sides? My van had no interior when I got it, but I can't remember seeing them on other Moonrakers I've worked on. Any ideas?

  5. Thanks Lord Congi. those pipes are the vapour condensor bits of the fuel tank breather system i think. they're definently part of the breather system, and I'm guessing the vapour condenses as it reaches the wider section. I think a previous owner must have drilled those holes for some reason. can't be a roof rack because it's got a pop top, and it can't be for an awning because the holes are on both sides of the van. I'll just weld them up I guess, I don't want bungs stuck in them really.
