Hello, How hard is it to change pushrod tubes? What exactly is involved in replacing them? It a head off job? will i need new head bolts etc? Cheers Alex
Engine out, heads off Im afraid, no new head bolts needed, just seals and tubes if they are too corroded/damaged to stretch and re-use.
i use jaycee pushrod tubes no probs no leaks , easy to do with heads on , but there are crap ones out there , empi, GSf , i even threw a set of cb ones away
Managed to do mine with engine in was a bit of a fiddle and if i was to do it again i would take the engine out. As others have said make sure you get the good seals i put a bit of wellseal on the seals as well and not had a leak from them for 2years
