  1. Hello,

How hard is it to change pushrod tubes?
What exactly is involved in replacing them? It a head off job? will i need new head bolts etc?

    Cheers
    Alex

What type/ size engine have you?

  3. If it's a type 4 it's very easy with the engine in.

Engine out, heads off Im afraid, no new head bolts needed, just seals and tubes if they are too corroded/damaged to stretch and re-use.

  6. ahh ok, thanks for that
    :D

  7. depending on what pushrod tubes you get you don t have to remove a type 1 engine either :)

Managed to do mine with engine in was a bit of a fiddle and if i was to do it again i would take the engine out.
As others have said make sure you get the good seals i put a bit of wellseal on the seals as well and not had a leak from them for 2years
