Yup! ... Not for the foreseeable.
A combination of "Covid inspired polished turds" and the practical limitations of lockdowns took the biscuit.
Ran the numbers and the new plan is for a 2006 Merc Viano with a pro roof fit and the rest of the conversion done by moi!
Then at least we can get to the coast in short order.

    I believe so ...
Would some dismantling with photos help though?
If so I'll get onto it in the next day or so :)

  10. Oh yes please, as long as it’s not damaged it’ll give me something to service before I go insane!!

  17. Amazing thank you, yes please could you keep that for me then please? Also, I noticed you have a generator available in another thread. Do you know the amp output for this by any chance? Is it orig Bosch?

Will do ... It has the VW OEM part number on the label, which brings the following up in a search:

    https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/uk/021903023fn-55-amp-alternator-1700-2000cc.html

so it looks to be 55a, and I think it IS a Bosch, but I can check for makers marks if you like.
