Having a bit of a clearout .... COMPACT 1600 - spares or repair . Bought as a runner but i haven`t had any time to test it so selling as spares / repair . Obvious issues are one of the air vents is missing and the ignition unit has a loose top . you`ll also need a thermostat which are £40 from propex . My plan was to buy a thermostat and see what happens . There`s plenty of info on the net about fault finding and repairing these or you could just send it off to Propex and get a 100% refurbed unit for the price of an Ebay unknown . Collection from SW London / Volksworld or TLB courier from there . Priced to sell at £125 which gives you plenty of scope for parts / repairs

Not a problem , think you`ll find a good compact will fetch 250 - 300 any day of the week , the older X1`s up to 250 ..

Good heaters. Compacts arent clever like later heaters so you can actually use any timer, stat but original one probably easiest if you want plug and play! had an x1 in my bus for The best part of 20 years(older model) . Model still supported by propex so you can get em serviced, repaired. Not sure how youd get one of these chinese eber copies repaired
