Problem with steering

  1. Hi I've been having problems ever since I had the ball joints replaced I'm having to wrestle the steering if I let go it veers to the left I've had the tracking done and was told its fine . Any ideas cheers

    Camber. Park up on the flat, walk done the road from the front and look back at the wheels, the tops should be quite obviously further out than the bottoms, even though it's only about 0.5 deg camber. I'm guessing you have one out and one in. Get that set, then redo the tracking which will change when you camber it right.

    If it does look ok, get underneath and check where the dimple in the camber adjusters are. If one's at the front and one at the back that might also cause you probs as the caster angle for each side will be different. TBH I've never driven one like this and doubt it would have such a marked effect but you never know.
