Was heating up my roast lunch.

 

Does anyone know if an prototype bay seat will fit in a late bay? Does anything need to be modified?

 

Yes they do, the original runners should already be attached to the seat tubs
Edit: Runners on drivers side only passenger seat is fitted via 2 C brackets @davidoft sells these if they are missing

Course they do I’ve a set of early’s in my late bay, runners were already there beneath some velour seats which I ripped out first chance I had

Who cares ... I doubt anyone would say that they are comfortable
That is why people look for alternatives,
But then there is always the people who think..well this is how they are.. likened to a series 1 Land Rover

If you fit new moulded sisal/rubber pads, they are super comfortable. Better than the seats in my Golf (but slidey-er).
