His companies / countries slip was a bit obvious. I believe him when he says he's the store owner and he's done 200 deals. I also believe him when he claims ignorance about various court stuff.

I think the setup is this. He can be president and with complete immunity he can go for it and fill his pockets. Meanwhile his backers can run riot doing the same and also follow their extreme right wing policies, which he will allow and support because he couldn't give a monkeys either way.

I also don't believe he's a racist, but he doesn't care if the nationalist Christian bunch run riot, he needed their votes.

Can't believe I'm saying this but he's right about Ukraine too. It was doing well as a neutral buffer until NATO started to want in.

And, I can even see his cohorts, even hated Hegseth would like to step away from Israel but, "the deep state", which does exist, and the Z***s lobby is too powerful to resist.

That just leaves Taiwan. That's where the WW3 will start.

Not as deranged as his cultivated image. The US political system is so intensely corrupt the only way he can do stuff is have totally unqualified yes men and try to circumvent.

Yes, he's crazy, no arguments there, but, for an example, his friend and unofficial envoy Peter Witkoff turns out to be considered and intelligent. While the official officials and the pentagon are run by war mongers who scheme to keep the proxy Ukraine war going because they don't see that Russia is no longer the Soviet Union, Trump has had to go behind their backs through Witkoff to try and sort an end to the war and by all accounts is doing a great job. He's got his work cut out with that and Iran, where he's doing the same. I believe Trump doesn't want any of these purposeless big wars going on.

My personal theory, knowing how deluded Trump is, is that he thinks if he stops the wars he and other presidents have started and continued out of habit and very powerful lobbying he'll get the Nobel prize for peace. lol A win, even for the wrong reason is still a win?

If he could just stop the Zionist lobby (impossible IMO) he'd actually be a hero. Unfortunately they run USA foreign policy.

 

Kicking the US population in the teeth is maybe exactly what's needed. The world is moving on and they are on course to become a third world country if they don't pull their collective finger out. Trump's policies at home are merely speeding up the inevitable. Probably best to get it over with. He's kind of right when he says they don't need a lot of the crap that caused their balance of trade problems.
Destroying the bloated US federal state is probably not a bad idea either. Everything in USA is so corrupt there really is no way forward other than destroying it and hoping when the dust settles something better might be build instead.

Don't think I'm a Trump supporter but the Democrats as far as war mongering and general corruption goes are far worse in recent decades.

He's just so clumsy and disjointed but we have to remember that the so called deep state is a very real, very powerful and very difficult thing to deal with.

Example is Ukraine. After the fall of the Berlin wall and the end of the Soviet bloc, the agreement was to leave a band of neutral countries between NATO and Russia, but good old USA viewed that as a win and have spent the last 3 decades pushing NATO to Russia's borders. Ukraine was the last straw, Russia have been incredibly patient. This has gone on unchecked as presidents of both colours have come and gone. Deep state.
