My Bumpers seem to have had some stick over the few years they have been on the van so i am thinking of having them powder coated just to protect them for a couple of yerrs till i get a respray
the above links are to my local powder coaters, the second link being the colour swatch they can powder coat

i want them the VW off white colour , whatever its called ? is it old england or something like ?
Does anyone have any advise the best colour match , maybe the 9003 signal white from the swatch

plus what should i pay for both bumpers and brackets

    ta very gladly

now i hate posts that start -"if this isnt allowed mods please delete" so ivee left it to the end

  2. depends on what white your van is really, is it the original VW colour or has it been resprayed at some point?

whites can be difficult to match, and looking at the swatches on a monitor might not give a true representation of the colour - probably best if you can take a look in real life

signal white might be too creamy .....I'd say pure white might be better, but its your choice

Original white was most likely pastel white or alpine white

Id say cost would most likely be around £180 ish at a guess

You might be better off rubbing down and spraying with a rattle can if you are going to re-spray in a few years time

I think I paid £40 each to have my bumpers sand blasted and powdercoated.
