Pop Top Canvas looking Tired and Dirty?

  1. Hopefully you will find this of help. I didn't want to pay the high expense of replacing my canvas so decided to try and salvage mine without removing it. It didn't look salvageable at first, however, the results came out pretty good. It was a bit of a faff covering everything inside and outside of the van with polythene sheeting and masking off the area, however, 2 years later and it still looks as good as the bottom photo. Total cost around £50 in fabric spray and waterproof spray. Well chuffed!

  2. never seen that stuff....i know you can get vinyl paint that works pretty well, but not sure how it'd fare being compressed/folded/unfolded...

That's a very impressive result, well worth doing. :thumbsup:It's exactly the same roof as I have.
I adopted a slightly different approach when it came time to clean my canvas, I left the roof up after camping and smashed it off on a height barrier. The replacement canvas was as good as new.
