I've fitted 2 fuel tank sender units from GSF and the 1st one stopped working after a month and now the other one reads 1/4 when filled . Is there an alternative/original one available?
Have you checked the meter end? A low reading rather than one that plummets to zero at some point could be the gauge or the voltage stabiliser.
Which type is it ? Iv got my tube one from vw heritage cost more than gsf but then brim tank it's smack on full and quality product !!
Mines the float type , when I fitted the 2nd one with it out the tank it would read full when raised and zero when let go .
