Sometimes you can find a section of vibrating pipe and damp the vibration with your hand. If so then try a sock wedged in the same place or a pipe fixing just where your hand worked...
This.. and there's often a washer on the end of the disk unit, it can become dislodged and cause a drip. Worth checking?
You need to know the make and model so that you get the correct valves , there's quite a few variations.
^^^this. Without knowing the exact model buying a replacement cartridge is all but impossible. You might get lucky by taking it out and going to a plumbing supplies shop and seeing if they can match it up but when I changed ours I had to go directly to the manufacturer. Luckily I still had all the paperwork from when the kitchen was fitted a few years ago so knew the make and model
Yes, been there, it's a pain, you'd think there'd be a few standard sizes, 3/8 and 1/2 " etc...but it doesn't seem to be the case.
Even knowing the exact model won't help you - they will have updated it. We had that when we bought a replacement shower - the name & model number was the only thing in common. There are a gazillion different ceramic cartridges, and it's almost guaranteed that not one of them will fit your tap. You'll end up buying a new tap, mark my words
New tap cartridge solved the problem. Ordered correct part but a slightly different part turned up which only affected the quarter turn tap, it butts out by a mm or two. But no more noise which is the main thing.
