Ive been really busy the last few months, and haven't been on here as much as I'd like. So my finger isn't really on the VW pulse at the moment. So now that we're trying to plan our Summer/book days off work, what shows & events should we be looking to get to? Are there any that people are going to "as a club"? We're based in Hampshire, so nearer events are more realistic, but what would you guys recommend? Looking forward to seeing some of you guys again
I reckon you're better just going with the flow and waiting till a few days before comitting to any event, I know this is hard with work and children but pre-booking a show and then it pouring down for the whole weekend and being a washout can be a tad annoying. This did happen to a lot of us on here a few years back and TLB camping and meet ups have'nt been the same since, It's a hard call and i hope you're camping year goes well
Currently we are booked in for viva skwg Vegas, field of dreams, aircooled 15, kustom kulture blastoff(non vw) hoping to go to eastnor castle camper and bus show too
There's loads of us going to camperjam and yes, it rained biblical proportions one year but since then it's been glorious. Possibly that's to do with those who've sworn they'd never go again
Is there going to be a Latebay group camping at Volksworld at all? After all, that's where I first discovered the club, and how I learned that what I needed was a late Bay - meeting you guys was the highlight of the show for me
