Flying vermin or sleek competition athletes - you takes your pick, but can someone answer me this:

How come you never see a teenage pigeon?

    You see chicks.

You see fully grown birds (admittedly some are scrawny with legs missing etc).

But you never see a medium sized pigeon. Are they hiding - or is the growth rate so fast that they go to sleep a chick and whammo, full grown bird the next morning?

  2. Well ... I love Pigeons ...

They start as chicks - but look like small Pigeons after about 1-2 months .. by the time they leave the nest they look pretty much ready ...

  3. This actually leads me onto a nice plug .... tomorrow is the premier of my new music video which features - Pigeons!

And the name of the track was inspired by TLB! More info tomorrow

  5. I like pigeons ^-^

I feel sorry for them and they're only really scrotty because they have to live around our mess. The pigeons in the countryside look much healthier :))

I rescued one with a broken wing recently and called him Trevor - he was lush! I managed to get him to a wildlife centre who took him in for me so hopefully old Trev is still out there somewhere (but probably not :().

  6. We have two woodpigeons that frequent our garden. Theyre both fat and in great nick. We dont throw food away that birds could eat, we put it in the garden for them. Now we have two lodgers who hang around for us to chuck out our old bread/pastry etc. Plus all the seeds we put out for the tits and finchs.

I havent named them becasue frankly I am not a lunatic. :p
