My box is a recon box and that clunks a bit going into reverse but nearly every auto I've drove do the same and my parents only drive auto s do driven a lot can you send YouTube link? Will have a look
i can't link on phone, there is a link on my avatar (which you can't see on tapatalk lol) if i go on the computer later i'll message you. mine didn't clonk originally but it's slowly getting worse, i guess it could be a worn mount, i was gonna source a spare box and get it rebuilt then when mine fails replace and then go from there, it is feasable my box is ok and just the torque converter is breaking down i guess but i'm no expert that's just what i've picked up off here, not many people have auto's
Well is bit difficult to explain through messages but not a big job to do! Will have a look tomorrow and think best way of explaining it to ya maybe its come loose?
ok yeah maybe? it sounds all rattly and 'chirrupy' from the acess holes, the video i did makes more sense! touch wood it still drives ok although sometimes the kickdown is tempemental
Need 2 people there 1 to turn engine over by hand and other feeling for bolt heads may be lucky seeing them with inspection torch but don't think you ve got good enough access? Worth just checking them 1st with have to undo them to take gearbox off anyway!
