  6. Seen this somewhere recently and tried it.
    Petrol station rip off shocker!
Say the petrol is 117.6 peer litre. Put one liter of petrol in and the pump price doesn't say 117.6, it rounds it up to 118
    :(

  7. Shocking! The problems we have in the 1st World ;)...

  8. I know. With the money they've stolen off me I could of had a fluffy mat to fit round the toilet by now, to match my bathmat. Now I have to suffer luminous peepee droplets on the floor.

  10. Have you been chewing lightsticks again ?

  11. Unleaded is £1.14 at my local Tesco, the local Texaco is £1.15 and I have seen it at £1.13 at a Shell garage in Warrington and Tesco's there. I believe Asda have a national pricing policy and currently care £1.12 for Unleaded and £1.18 for diesel. The big guns are all much more expensive at present with Shell being about the most competitive I have seen.

  13. £1.12 on Tyneside

  14. That's over a guinea a litre!

  15. Just noticed unleaded is now £112.9 at Tesco and I believe Asda are at £110.7 ! There's currently a 7p difference between Unleaded and Diesel. At this rate I may be able to use my van all the time and not pay any more than I was using the car (diesel) back in August when I was paying £135 a litre! The RAC predict that 99p per litre is likely prospect in early 2015. Happy Days!

They sell it to people like me. I have four garages in my local area and I honestly couldn't tell you how much diesel is in any of them.
When my gauge gets to 1/4 full I pull into the most convenient garage and stick £60 worth in. Life's too short to be worrying about whether I've spent 50p more than I needed to.

  17. jolly good dont blame me when your a poor hard up pensioner and you cant afford ya heatin on then , i was just saying rockafella :p

I promise that I won't blame you when I'm a poor old pensioner. I'm also not rich, probably because I pay too much for fuel, but I really can't be bothered worrying about it. It's not like I have a choice of whether I buy fuel or not so I just view it as a cost of doing business, a bit like rent or business rates.

  19. around a pound & half a gallon here, (2.42 US a gallon) and dropping it has dropped 18 cents in a week, Where my co worker lives it's at $1.91 a gallon.

  20. ok :baggy: i dont worry over pennys either ( especially when buying steak burgers) :D normally but sometimes they make pounds n if i was in business id be very worried if my clients or competitors were going else where , look how much price comparison helps everyone pay less for almost everything these days .
